the mini series on Jesus is going well. tonight we looked at Jesus the party-goer and thought about how church might be more like a party and how some parties might be more like doing church. we thought about the fact that Jesus was often eating and drinking with people because he was good company, he was a good mate....people wanted him at their party - he was good value! We need to become more like Jesus!!
Next week we are looking at Jesus the storyteller.
Just to keep you in the loop:
Saturday 20th May we are meeting down at St. Paul's for a worship jam from 5-7. All welcome with or without instruments. Then from 7pm we will find somewhere to have some grub together.
Sunday 4th June we are meeting back at Heroes lounge in the Leisure Centre......more about that soon.
